“Benjamin is one of my favorite artists as he is versatile, imaginative, creative and outspoken with all the envisage and political turmoil’s with an insightful manner. His prolific talent and profound mind has molded him into a very credible, earnest and scarce journalist and artist to be found anywhere. It all started when he “Favorite” one of my creations at Deviantart and out of curiosity I decided to check out his gallery. His gallery is superb, tasteful and truly mind blowing as they depicts on what’s going on with ad infinitum issues of wars, conflicts, political and amusing caricatures of melting pots people and nations in whole. Ben Heine is truly a profound, philosophical, brilliant and gifted artisan!” June 12, 2008

“I would like to write about my fellow artist Ben. Ben is an incredible talent and human being. His work is very special and Ben is one of those rare people who truly has his own style. Ben can always see someting from a different angle or view that no one else can and that is what makes him so special. Ben is someone who takes cartooning to a new level where it transcends the genre. Ben makes me proud to be an artist because of who he is and what he does. I look forward to seeing this talented man grow as an artist. I can only imagine what he will be doing in the genre years from now. Thank you Ben for your talent and your friendship. June 12, 2008

“The work that Benjamin Heine produces, be it a political illustration or a whimsical sketch, never fails to be imbued with the spark of true inventiveness and genuine creativity that is so often contrived by those who have grown weary of "churning out" their work. For Ben it is easy to see that there is a deep and truly abiding passion for his work, something that prevents his art from becoming tainted by the lackadaisical approaches that often creep into this genre due to the time constraints placed upon the artists. This is an area in which Ben has excelled tremendously due to the fact that he manages his time extremely well. He is able to prioritize his activities accordingly, thus allowing him to produce his works in a timely, efficient manner that never fails to please. From Ben Heine's exceptional illustrations which have been featured on numerous occasions to enhance my own writings, to the commissioning of a personal portrait, I can say without hesitation that there are very few artists with the versatility that Ben Heine possesses, and there is not another with whom I would prefer to work. If you are looking for a contemporary artist/illustrator/cartoonist/political satirist/social commentator (and etc.) you will be hard pressed to find a more politically and socially astute mind capable of translating the political landscape of the day, and other current events, into illustrations with enduring social relevance.” June 11, 2008

“Benjamin Heine is a well known political cartoonist and journalist and one of the most promising and talented illustrators of the last generation. His highly acclaimed portraits of world political leaders and cultural personalities (such as those of Malcolm X, Marcel Marceau, Yves Saint Laurent) as well as those of less known people (for example the portrait of the beautiful Russian artist Ejenia Spasskaja) well testify to his limitless fields of expertise and interests, as well as his very powerful and amusing imagination. Ben’s works (including the most political and irreverent ones) are always beautiful images, graciously combined with a great wealth of colors, expressivity and irony. And behind the chiaroscuro of an apparently very ordinary portrait will always emerge a touch of fresh vibrant vitality. Benjamin Heine’s works have been published on The Guardian, The Daily Records and on the most popular political cartoons websites on the net!” June 11, 2008

“Ben Heine is a young, gifted cartoonist based in Brussels. I have had the pleasure of viewing many of Ben's cartoons. Ben is mostly a political cartoonist, but with a heart toward, and eye for, what is human in politics and how his art can inform, educate and motivate people and governments toward change. Ben is not afraid to tackle political situations that may be controversial, yet he does so without condemnation. Instead, Ben Heine, through his work, accomplishes a sense of international unity and harmony. Upon seeing his work, I felt an immediate attachment to a global-minded perspective. A perspective of peace, international harmony and goodwill. Ben is gaining a reputation on the internet as a respected artist and colleague. I feel very fortunate to know Ben and to be acquainted with his work as well as to his peacemaking endeavors. Sincerely.” June 10, 2008
