I just spent a few days working on some new abstract paintings on large canvases. I wanted them to be very colorful, spontaneous and decorative. Here is one of them (70 x 90 cm). I love flashy colors and heavy textures!

I'll share the full versions of each work shortly (when they are dry...). I used 2 different techniques and I wanted them to be very colorful, spontaneous and decorative. Marilyn Monroe's portrait made with thousands of flat circles (each circle was placed individually on a black background). It took me almost one week of intense work... Please see 3 details below. I love Marilyn, I think she was one of the most sensual women in the world.

Cologne Panorama (360 degrees!)

3 days of intense work to make this huge panorama of Cologne, Germany's fourth-largest city. This is a 360 degrees view, I tried to get as many details as possible, sometimes repainting different parts of the cityscape. The original composition is really big (almost 20.000 pixels wide!) because I assembled more than 30 photos. I took all of them when I was in Germany 2 weeks ago... (FYI, I didn't use any autopano or fisheye).
