I quickly made this graph (personal interpretation) to show all the things I have to deal with on a daily basis as a solo artist... And I think it can be useful for those who want to learn how the system works. It usually goes from step 1 to 9. Definitely it's the art production I like the most. Some companies have a bunch of people for each of these tasks. Artists should try to manage their own business. Get a print of the above graph at this link.

A nice project I made recently in my new studio. I covered the model Zhuzhu and the white background with hundreds of small black stickers. That made her look almost invisible at the end. I wanted to title this artwork "Chaos" or "Big Bang" but I finally chose "Less is More". Please, view the work in progress here below. New: Buy this artwork as a print!

This is a digital work but totally handmade.
I painted each circle individually on a black surface.
Let's call this "circlism". Quite a time consuming technique.

Crocuses

.I captured this a few days ago in Lille, France. These crocuses were really tiny, a few centimeters may be. I used a simple 70 mm lens but enhanced the whole image in Photoshop CS4. Several hours of work to get the results I wanted. The picture is not reframed, it actually is a montage of several photos I took when I was there...
The main thing I wanted to express here is the way fragile little things can appear big and strong sometimes, and beautiful of course. But your own interpretation is more important.
