Mahatma Gandhi - 2 -
.

He was the pioneer of satyagraha—resistance to tyranny through mass civil disobedience, firmly founded upon ahimsa or total non-violence—which led India to independence and has inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. Dancing His
Way to Peace

A poem by Peter S. Quinn

I will dance like a white dove toward peace
With my both wings set to the sky from here
The motion of my movements set and frees
So I will glow like a ray in astrosphere
I have filled my moments here on this earth
With every aspect of its sensual shade
Now I'm gaining more power in my rebirth
With flowing that the breeze balladeer arrayed

With songs of true peace there's harmonious air
Through the heavens of the moments arriving
We shall fill very quarter of its flair
Before again to tomorrow diving
Both my wings of new freedom shall chains break
And dawn of opportunities awake
