Rainbow Memories (Original Music)
Original musical work. It is a collaboration with my friend Thibault Crols. I hope you like it. My fav moment is the fat bass part starting at 1:37. Cover picture: "In A Rainbow City" (Model: Emy Neirynck). Cover and music: © 2014 Ben Heine
Exhi-B at The Event Lounge
An awesome collective exhibition (via Exhi-B) with an electro after party that happened the 11th of October 2013 at the very trendy and prestigious Event Lounge in Brussels, Belgium. I exhibited my portrait of Jullian Assange (Diasec finishing) made exclusively with thousands of "@" symbols. Nice memories for me. You can view more pictures here below and on my Facebook page. Many other photos on Exhi-B's page.

Here is a screenshot of the software I started using a few months ago: Ableton Live. I will be avidly working on some original electronic compositions in the coming months. Ableton is a loop-based software music sequencer and DAW for OS X and Windows. In contrast to many other software sequencers, Live is designed to be an instrument for live performances as well as a tool for composing and arranging. It is also used for mixing of tracks by DJs, as it offers a suite of controls for beatmatching, crossfading, and other effects used by turntablists, and was one of the first music applications to automatically beat match songs. It does not support traditional musical notation.
DJ Richie Hawtin

aka Plastikman
.
Richie Hawtin (born June 4, 1970) is an English-Canadian electronic musician and internationally-touring DJ who was an influential part of Detroit techno's second wave of artists in the early 1990s. Hawtin is best known for his abstract, minimal works under the alias Plastikman, a moniker he continued to use into the mid 2000s.
Hawtin is known for DJing minimal techno sets making use of laptop computers and digital mixing equipment.
In May 1990, Hawtin fellow second-waver John Acquaviva founded the Plus 8 record label, which they named after their turntable's pitch adjust function. In 1998, Hawtin launched Minus, primarily for his own projects.
Hawtin was born in Banbury, Oxfordshire in England, but moved when he was aged 9 to LaSalle, Ontario, a suburb of Windsor, and just across the river from Detroit, the birthplace of techno. His father worked as a robotics technician at General Motors, and was a fan of electronic music, introducing his son to Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream at an early age.
