King of the place, here is the mighty lion! I left the drawing unfinished on purpose (I wanted to attract the attention on the lion's face mainly). The little creature behind the lion is a kind of troll or maybe a ghost, completely mad and desperate because the feline is so much better and faster. Some innovations in the series: drawing with colors and black paper... This is somehow the "beta version" of "Pencil Vs Camera". Many more works coming soon. You can view some details and the sketch in progress here below. I took this picture in Tunisia and I also made the drawing.

Pencil Vs Camera - 57

Sometimes, you find the key to your problems in the dark moment. There is always a magic door and a key near you. The light and the solution aren't far. Sad events can be a source of enrichment too. The bird I drew isn't an eagle or a parrot, it's a crow. Model: Caroline Madison. See the entire Pencil Vs Camera album. The above picture is dedicated to Tina, a special person, a friend and a solution finder.

Other angle (sort of backstage picture, while I was
testing which pose was the best for Caroline):

This is an old woman I met in a street of Venice, Italy. She was walking alone and looking very sad. Ok, women live usually much longer than men, may be that sweet grandma was missing her man. Anyway, I hope that person feels better now. As always, I took the photo and also made the quick drawing. A little girl painting her own little world (if you wish, you can view some details here). Made for "Art Official Concept", an art gallery based in Cape Verde (Western Africa). See the whole Pencil Vs Camera album.

A quick sketch showing the great singer Cesária Évora flying above her island in Cape Verde, Western Africa (if you wish, you can view some details here). Cesária Évora is a Cape Verdean popular singer, nicknamed the "barefoot diva" for performing without shoes. She is perhaps the best internationally known practitioner of a mournful genre of blues music known as "Morna". Morna is based on the Portuguese fado and features bluesy vocals set against a background of acoustic guitars, fiddles, accordion, and cavaquinho, which is a small, four-string guitar. Évora has been described as a cross between Edith Piaf and Billie Holiday.

I want to D R E A M !

just an idea with a few lines and shapes)

A little hole in a piece of paper and a minimalist sketch, I recently took this photo in Brussels. One world meeting another, imagination versus the blurred and strange reality. (this is just another visual concept that I'll certainly be using in my future posts.)

The above photo has been shot with the Samsung NX10, which
has been provided to me by Samsung Digital Imaging Co., Ltd.

person and a talented lawyer.

This is sort of experimental. I'll be posting more
crazy creations in this style in the coming days/weeks.

Reality and Unreality

By Peter S. Quinn

Reality and unreality
It made me laugh
To be or not to be
Are the times epigraph

Everything you might see
Could be a sketch rough
Comprehending its duality
Is the world a bluff?

Endurance in durability
Wishes of arty autograph
On to each its infinity
Draw and photo half to half
