Half Real... I took the photo and also made the drawing, slightly more detailed here. Happy New Year by the way! See the whole "Pencil Vs Camera" album.

Random detail:

When divided walls become alive. When the impossible becomes possible. I took the photo and also made the sketch on paper. I used a different drawing technique for this work (scribbles instead of lines). See the whole "Pencil Vs Camera" album.

There is a baby in everyone of us. I actually wanted to draw the little child inside her head, but I finally decided to make it become the flower of an imaginary plant, still connected to the precious woman. Dedicated to Marta. Please, see the whole "Pencil Vs Camera" album.

This is a picture I took in Greece. I also made the drawing on paper. I'm going to start something new in the "Pencil Vs Camera" series, I'll try to see "through things". This image is the beginning of a new turn in the PvsC concept... Please, see the whole "Pencil Vs Camera" album.

Checkmate :) The Queen takes the King! I took this picture under a church in Oia, Greece, I also made the rough drawing on paper. I used to play chess every day some time ago... I intended to draw a skull ring, I finally opted for a knot ring... See the whole "Pencil Vs Camera" album

"If you can dream it, you can do it" is a famous quote by Walt Disney... I took the photo in Greece (at the Ancient Thera, an antique city located at the top of Messavouno mountain in the island of Santorini) The stairs are part ot the ruins found there. There was a spectacular view down to the sea. I also made the drawing showing an orca escaping from a "frame in a frame", a way out to another universe, which is hold by Mickey Mouse, the famous character created in 1928 by Walt Disney.

I've made here a slightly more detailed sketch for this surreal composition on paper. The guy on the right is shown upside down, the head inside the pavement... The tramway called "Gravity" in the upper right corner is overturned (see enlarged detail below). 12 balls seem to be in weightless conditions. The infinity symbol appears in the distant vanishing point. I took the photo near the Palace of Justice in the centre of Brussels, Belgium. The second title of this image is "This is Not Gravity".

I've taken this photo in Brussels, near Louise (Belgium). I've also made the rough sketch. It is dedicated to STROMAE.

Paul van Haver, better known as "Stromae" (anagram of "Maestro"), is a young singer-songwriter of Belgian-Rwandan origin. He has recently distinguished himself in both hip hop and electronic music. He first became famous with the song "Alors on danse". By May 2010, this track had reached number one in France, the Netherlands, Greece, Germany, Austria, Turkey, Switzerland, Italy, Denmark, Belgium, Romania and the Czech Republic.
.
Vertigo Records, a label of Mercury Records France (Universal Music Group) signed him for a worldwide licensing deal.
.
You've got to see his "video lessons" showing how he created his best electro songs simply with his voice, a computer and a small synthesizer!

I recently took this photo near Hannut in Belgium. I also made the rough sketch. I only drew things that came to my mind when I started this project. Sort of an improvisation... This also gave me the idea of a new video series that I might be doing and posting in the coming weeks... Thanks for your visit.

I also drew the rough sketch. That little boy was
driving fast and having lots of fun!

This is dedicated to Yves Rossy alias "JET MAN" (also known as "Fusion Man"). I admire him a lot.

He is a Swiss pilot, inventor and aviation enthusiast. He is nicknamed "Jet Man" and "Fusion Man" for being the first person to achieve sustained human flight using a jet-powered fixed wing strapped to his back, reaching a top speed of 304 km/h (189 mph). He developed and built a system comprising a back pack with rigid aeroplane-type carbon-fiber wings with a span of about 2.4 metres (7.9 ft), powered by four attached jet engines. He already flew across the English Channel, the Strait of Gibraltar and over the Alps. Next, Rossy plans to fly across the Grand Canyon in Arizona in the USA...
