Baby Girl on Her Way

Ben Heine's little girl is on her way, the birth will happen in a couple of weeks. She sticks her tongue out and hides her face with her foot... The parents are proud and so happy already.

My Son Theo Growing Fast

Theo
will be 1 year old on the 12th of August.
I love him, he completely changed my life!

A quickie. I took this photo in Spain and also made the sketch. Crazy dog... finding it cool or may be not that much... If you wish, you can view the sketch in progress and 2 other photos of the same dog HERE. This image is related to this excellent April joke made by DeviantArt.

Left alone, desperate and drunk... but still smiling! This is a photo I recently took in Greece. I also made the drawing... Please, see the whole "Pencil Vs Camera" album.

Ants carrying heart shaped leaves... :) ♥

I recently took this pic in a park in Brussels and I also made
the rough drawing on a small piece of folded paper...

A cute Danboard I drew on a tiny piece of paper because I don't
have one. I love this little robot. I took the photo a 200mm lens...
Please, see the whole "Pencil Vs Camera" album

This piece is dedicated to the
character itself and to Anton Tang.

I don't have a Danboard, so I just drew one
on a tiny piece of paper. It's a cute subject :)

Something in Common
.
(See it on Flickr)

Another Danboard I drew on a small piece of paper. It's actually the same drawing and same paper than PvsC 38, but it's another photo; I placed the little robot in a different environment... I used a 200 mm lens.

I titled this picture "Something in Common" because in French "leaf" and "sheet" are both named "feuille"... I also wanted to suggest an opposition between technology (the tiny robot) and nature (the leaf). Nature is everywhere, the robot is a fictive representation. Magritte might have said: "this is not a robot", it's only an image of it... =)

This is a tiny kitten I found in a street in Braives, Belgium. He was totally lost and scared. With a little help, he finally got back to his family safely... On the picture, I tried to give the baby a huge presence (emphasizing the eyes' expression) and make him look even more fragile... but still willing to survive.

I wrote the following poem in 2003,
it's only available in French, sorry about that...

On devient pauvre.

Et puis, on se dit "à la prochaine",
Mais, en fait, tout est perdu.
On aimerait pardonner sans peine,
Car ça sent le "déjà vu".
