Absolutely purrfect! Eight playful little cuties I found in a street of Lisbon, Portugal. If you wish, you can view 2 details at this link. Note: Many people tell me that, like in some of my other pics, this image looks like a "pencil drawing". It is a photo, though. The truth is that I always spend some time to edit my photos to get a nice balance of details and different gray tones... It's just more work for better results. I personally think unedited photos are never good enough to be shared.

A crazy and contrasted duo.
Black and white, wild and quite.

No matter the reasons or the circumstances, I love you today more than yesterday!

A quick sketch I made while I was in Spain some time ago. That dog was standing there, alone, looking at me. So cute. I thought he needed some good company... If you wish, you can view a detail below and the full series here. The above picture has been shot with the Samsung NX11.

This is a tiny kitten I found in a street in Braives, Belgium. He was totally lost and scared. With a little help, he finally got back to his family safely... On the picture, I tried to give the baby a huge presence (emphasizing the eyes' expression) and make him look even more fragile... but still willing to survive.

The above photo has been shot with the Samsung NX10, which
has been provided to me by Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.

This is another circlist creation. I wanted it to look a bit "wilder" than my previous circlist works. I digitally applied each circle on a black background (I made them appear wider, so it was a bit faster than usual) and I didn't really pay attention to symmetry or details.

More info on my circlist paintings can be found HERE

FYI, the original version of this image is huge (11 000 pixels wide, 300 dpi). If you wish to have any more information, if you simply want to download and own the original version of this work or if you even want to have your own face portrayed in this style, please contact info@theartistery.com

Angel Eyes

By Peter S. Quinn

There is always morning
In these blue blue eyes
Every sweet and longing
With faraway dream skies
You are comfortably near
When you are by my site
I love to have you here
Each morning, day and night

There's always dreamy glow
In your northern stars
Tears that from inside flow
Like celestial quasars
You have given me my dreams
From a night gone to day
Where blue to outside streams
Like new dawn on its way

There is always with you
Love with so much earnestly
Irises so sweet and blue
Giving love and hope to me
I will want to have here
With my dreams and longings
Reaching out to somewhere
Like the new morning sings

Carrying Your Heart With Me

I Carry Your Heart With Me

.
By e.e. cummings

i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)
i fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)
