Climate Changes

Abstract Art by artist Ben Heine

Detail of a wide acrylic abstract painting (recent project). I titled it "Climate Changes" because I had the feeling it looked like clouds and tornadoes seen from space but with strange colors... :)

A picture I took near Warsaw in Poland some weeks ago.

Fira by Night

A picture I took in Fira (Santorini, Greece), last summer. It is a long exposure shot and I've repainted some parts of it. Fira is the modern capital of the Greek Aegean island, Santorini. It is a traditional settlement. The view from there is magnificent, with a unique panorama showing the 18 km long caldera from southern Cape Akrotiri to northern Cape Ag. Nikolaos, plus the volcanic island Nea Kameni at the center with Thirassia Island in the distant west on blue Aegean water. Fira is a town of white-washed houses built on the edge of the 400 m high caldera on the western edge of the semi-circular island of Thera

Random detail (big zoom in the centre of the picture):

A prisoner lost in madness...

A series of pictures I took at the AppArt Gallery's Loft.
The model is my friend Rami. We are both totally mad.

Some Ways

By Peter S. Quinn

Some ways will never leave
For someone put them there
They are old ways archives
Buildings with a spiral stair

Blacker than dreams inside
People are making walls
Where they in their ways hide
When some stranger calls

Nothing can be done then right
Silences are giving terms
Into the lonesome way of night
The status quo of the perms
.
(The poem appeared on petersquinn.blogspot.com)

PS : This is a long exposure shot I made
by night somewhere in the centre of Brussels
