Another cat I found in a park near Sousse in Tunisia... I didn't change the colors, it's an albinos kitty with 2 different eye colors. It's very rare. I'll post more pictures of this sweet creepy thing soon.
This is a quick Flesh and Acrylic demo I made for the Catalan public television "TV3" (in Spain). The work in progress was filmed and the video report was broadcasted the 25th of November 2011 along with a short documentary about Art and Surrealism in Belgium. As always in "Flesh and Acrylic", I worked in a wild and intuitive way. Model: Julia. She is a journalist and a model in her spare time...I left the newspapers in the background on purpose.

A quick sketch I made while I was in Spain some time ago. That dog was standing there, alone, looking at me. So cute. I thought he needed some good company... If you wish, you can view a detail below and the full series here. The above picture has been shot with the Samsung NX11.
Somehow a mutation of Digital Circlism. Instead of placing perfect circles on a black background, this is made with thousands of irregular shapes. You can view some details and the work in progress here below.
Sometimes, you find the key to your problems in the dark moment. There is always a magic door and a key near you. The light and the solution aren't far. Sad events can be a source of enrichment too. The bird I drew isn't an eagle or a parrot, it's a crow. Model: Caroline Madison. See the entire Pencil Vs Camera album. The above picture is dedicated to Tina, a special person, a friend and a solution finder.
Details/zoom:
Sketch evolution (for the crow):
Other angle (sort of backstage picture, while I was testing which pose was the best for Caroline):
This is a long exposure photo. This picture is the result of an improvised collaboration with my long time friendStoff. Model: Caroline Madison. I first "flashed" her then took a 30 seconds picture, while stoff was doing the magic orb in the middle of the composition. This photo is dedicated to my friend Marcel De Munnynck, who passed away a few days ago...
This is another long exposure photo. I love how scary Caroline looks... (see a detail here below). This picture is the result of an improvised collaboration with my long time friend Stoff (make sure to check out his page , there are some amazing creations to view).
The silhouette on the left is me using Stoff's camera to "flash" the model while my own camera (placed on another tripod just behind me) was capturing the moment
Stoff makes incredible "orbs" by playing with home made light sources. Luckily, Caroline Madison was there with us... I first "flashed" her, while stoff was doing the magic orb in the middle of the composition.
I recently took this photo by night at the seaside in Hastings, while I was travelling to the UK for an exhibition in London (Battersea Affordable Art Fair). I lived in Hastings from 2002 to 2003, it was so nice to be there again!
Another picture I took in a lovely garden in Braives, Belgium... Please see here below a detail of the above shot. Model: Caroline Madison. MUA: Michaelle Markus.

Pencil Vs Camera, Digital Circlism and Flesh and Acrylic exhibited together for the first time during the same event. The show happened at the Accessible Art Fair in Brussels, Belgium. All of the images you see above are limited edition prints already face mounted and bonded between 2 high quality acrylic glass panels (Diasec finishing). You can find more info about my limited editions prints and about Diasec here. It was the third time I participated in this great event.
Several of my limited edition prints (in Pencil Vs Camera) already face mounted and bonded between 2 high quality acrylic glass panels (Diasec finishing) were exhibited at the Battersea Affordable Art Fair in London via The Art Movement from the 19th till the 23rd of October 2011. You can find more info about my limited editions prints and about Diasec here.
A radio interview I gave for "Drive Time Surprise/Show" (TBS FM, Seoul, South Korea). It was broadcasted a few days ago. I was interviewed by Sam and Annabelle (it's in English with a big French accent from me, lol). In this conversation, I'm talking about my recent art series, my sources of inspiration, my friend Peter S. Quinn and my exhibitions.
